Joanne Connelly, CEO
Joanne Connelly is the CEO of Birdsong Partners. Joanne has 30 years of experience in the federal market, most recently building and selling ConnellyWorks, a successful public relations, marketing and events company supporting technology companies selling to federal, state and local governments. Prior to ConnellyWorks, Joanne ran marketing and business development programs for a number of government contractors, including Sigaba and OAO Corporation. Prior to that, Joanne was an award-winning reporter and editor, covering trade, policy and procurement for a number of publications, and is a former editor of Federal Computer Week.
Bob Suda, President & COO
Bob Suda is the President and COO of Birdsong Partners. He brings more than 40 years of experience in the federal market. For the last 10 years, he has provided strategic advice and guidance to a wide-range of government contractors in the areas of procurement, finance and go-to-market planning. He retired from the federal government after 32 years of service. Prior to retirement, he was the Associate Administrator and Director of the Department of Transportation’s John Volpe National Transportation System Center in Cambridge, Mass. Prior to that, he was Associate Chief Information Officer for Integration and Operations for the U.S. Department of Agriculture, responsible for managing the National Information Technology Center in Kansas City, MO, the Telecommunications Operations for USDA, and the end user IT support functions at USDA. Bob also held a number of positions with the General Services Administration and was that agency’s first Deputy CFO.
